Create a verifiable listing
Use current photos of the actual vehicle or item. State the correct year, variant, mileage, condition, known defects, registration status, and whether the CR is encumbered. Do not place links, banking details, ID numbers, or a home address in public text or photos.
- Photograph several exterior and interior angles in good light.
- Disclose material accident, flood, repair, or ownership information honestly.
- Remove listings promptly when the vehicle is sold or unavailable.
Manage enquiries and test drives
Keep initial communication inside KotseMoto. Meet in daylight at a secure public location, bring another person, and verify the prospective buyer's identity and licence before a test drive. Do not hand over original ownership documents merely to prove that they exist.
- Agree on the route and remain with the vehicle.
- Do not share one-time passwords, banking login details, or copies of IDs without a legitimate need.
- Watch for fake transfer confirmations and overpayment or refund requests.
Close the transaction completely
Use a fully completed notarized deed and signed payment receipt. Record the exact time and date of handover, vehicle identifiers, keys, documents, and amount received. Cooperate with the buyer on the required clearances and ownership transfer, and retain proof of your report or submission.
- Verify cleared funds before releasing the vehicle and original documents.
- Do not sign blank deeds or leave buyer information incomplete.
